]She's officially now 28. Only 2 more years until 30!
She is taking fullll advantage of it being "her day". First, she managed to escape her stall during the night AND let the goats out (she leaned on their fence until it was smooshed - jerk!) so I was greeted by the whole gang when I showed up to feed this morning. Then, she had a lesson this morning and spent the whole time being nutty. Then she galloped through her pasture a few times, bossed the goats around, and is just generally being the epitome of sassy-ness.
What a silly girl!!
The "celebration" started last night with her yearly heart-shaped-carrots-in-dinner present (she gets treats very very occasionally so carrots are a big deal! Haha).
She approved.
Then, this morning, even Hazel was getting in on the excitement (I'm never seen her "canter" before...but she was "cantering" here! She looks ridiculous when she runs that fast... Hair flying everywhere...it's the best.).
"That THING runs??!"
Then we had grazing time with our besties.
After that, it was nap time.
Then, it was time to boss her friends around. That's what birthdays are for, right?
"What?! You SAID it's MY birthday!!"
And then she took us all up to the water trough and we hung out there for a while.
