I'm so excited. I've been out to ride him a few times. I feel very comfortable that he's the right horse, and all that's left is a vet check. I just wanted to share

He goes by Scout. He's a 5 year old Morgan/Paso Fino cross.

Thats a really nice cross...really good looking boy there.....are you going to have him checked by a vet?

Kansas twister: Yeah, I'm going to schedule the vet this week. The owner is out of town through Wednesday, so I'll hopefully get it Thurs-Sat sometime.

Is he gaited?

His owners said that he has naturally done the Paso gait, but generally he prefers to trot.
I think I've felt him gait when we were on the trails - although as they said, he usually just trots instead.
I'm really ok with it either way. I'm mostly just going to be trail riding, so his personality was much more important to me.
