The horse I traded my crazy pony for...

She was scrawny, scared of people, timid of dogs, and pregnant with a mule baby... Look what she turned into!

Beautiful! Gives new meaning to "diamond in the rough", eh?!

It really does. She's such kind and loving mare.

Here are the pictures taken on the day I first saw her. I took her home the very next day. She was about 10 months pregnant. (I think it's been almost three years now).

And of course... the baby she had... (The baby wasn't part of the trade so he went back to the people I got her from). They picked her up at a mule sale. I was there when they brought her home. I made the trade that day and the next day she came home to me. They didn't want her, they wanted the mule baby and had planned on selling her so the deal was easy on both sides. I got rid of the crazy pony and they got the mule. Plus they didn't have to pack her full of groceries.

She's a Tennessee Walking Horse. Kindest little mare. It's funny because the day I brought her home she kicked the dog and if you would walk behind her she'd kick up and then look to see what was comming after her. I thought it was a mistake but once she figured things out she settled right in...
