The horses

Just thought I would share some pics of the horses. There are a few I am working on getting more weight on, so please don't bash me on them. I created a thread a little while back on feeding advice with Beet Pulp.

Other then the few that are a little bit thin, what do you think?

Beautiful horses. I don't think they look awful, and obviously you're aware, so...but really pretty. I like the buckskin best, my first horse was a buckskin mini, so I'm partial. :)

I got my horse in January, and I've been trying to get weight on her since, so I know how you feel. I had so many people telling me, "She's too skinny!" the first week I got her, as if I had been the one feeding her for months. But we're getting there (slowly) and you will too, I'm sure.

Yea I know what you mean, I love my 2 buckskins the buckskin that in pic with the babies, that is my other buckskins daughter. As for my black mare, her weight comming up nicely, she went downhill on me with her foal and I she was just maintaining with the foal. Now that baby is weaned and gone she is doing well with putting it back on.

The Black mare in the second picture is my Draft cross. She is what I call a perfect cross between a heavy breed and a light breed. Dam was a purebred Percheron, and sire was a purebreed Arabian. Let me see if I can find a better pic of her, she looks so horrible there......

Wow, she is really pretty. The refined head comes from the Arab side, I guess. LoL, I like her tiny ears. I'm not sure, but I think people sometimes have trouble keeping weight on Arabs in general. Her foal is adorable, too. What color is it turning out to be?

She is a very nice cross. Thanks for sharing more pictures of her? Is she broke?

Yes she is broke. I don't have a favorite sport so I just trail ride. And I only ride western tho in the past several of my horses been rode english. Diablo has been an awsome trail mare for me as well as others. :)
