The horses I work with!

I've been lucky enough to become the Ranch Assistant at Equine Voices Rescue & Sanctuary™ @ Jumpin' Jack Ranch, Green Valley, Arizona and I also work for R&M Racing Stable! Equine Voices is in Arizona and R&M is in Florida but I go out to the tracks to help out for a month or so. It's complicated but it's fun and best of both worlds!
I'm also going to online school for my vet tech degree, just doing my basics online.

Equine Voices
Equine Voices Rescue & Sanctuary is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving Premarin (PMU) mares and foals from slaughter. We are a voice for the many horses that cannot speak for themselves, working to end their senselessslaughter for overseas markets. Through education, we are confident we can enlighten the public about the horrors behind the premarin industry and horse slaughter, and be a catalyst for change so these noble animals may finally live a life without abuse, pain and suffering. We also save local horses from slaughter and from the hands of the Mexican drug cartel.

Meet Gulliver, he is the Mascot at Equine Voices

Mystic is a PMU mare that came in with a 4 month old colt at her side and a foal in her belly. She has finally come around and now trust people, she's even rideable!

Nick was in a barn fire about 6 years ago, he was the only survivor out of 25 horses! The people that 'rescued' him never took care of his wounds, thus his skin and tissue became very infected. After two years of being here he has been healing up and his hair has started to grow back. Unfortunately a sore on his right hip has become very large and infected. He was taken to an Equine Hospital on Monday and the doctor said it's probably cancer. We're suppose to get the results back today, crossing my fingers that's not what it is! Also that's me hosing his back in the photo

Probably one of the most traumatic stories out of all the horses at the rescue. Kachina was dragged behind a truck and beaten by a man and his 13 year old daughter. On August 3, 2008, Kachina was found on her side after falling from being beaten with a pvc pipe and lack of air due to the deadly noose that was strangling her. A local police officer answered a call from a concerned citizen and witnessed the abuse. He repeatedly ordered the two to stop and was forced to draw his weapon. The officer arrested the man and charged him with felony animal cruelty charges. On March 19, 2009, the jury found the man "not guilty", and the perpetrator and his daughter were off scott free. Kachina was at risk of going back to the man and his daughter after all she had been through. Horse advocates that attended the trial and the general public were appalled that he was found "not guilty" and Kachina was returned to him. After much negotiation, Kachina was purchased by Equine Voices and currently is living at the sanctuary!

R&M Racing Stables

No you are correct, she did post some of these photo. I should have mentioned it here like I did in my introductory but she basically stole my identify off of facebook. She also did this on another site. We have settled everything that's why I'm not making to big of a deal of anything.

Hope that clears some things up :)

Ok so I just got a message from an admin that omgpink was also created on this computer I'm using. I have talked to my sister and she is the one that created all of this. She even created a fake facebook so she could create another false identity to 'clear things up with me'. She told me about some calander contest? I'm sorry if she made this contest and promised people prizes and what not. She is only 12 and I hope that she has learned a lesson from this!
