Horses in my life..

I will start with the ones that will be joining my life soon enough, as those are the first pictures available for me.
later on I will find the older ones and show most horses who have taught me!

This is Prega, I do not know her age, but she is a quite lovely, a bit fat Latvian warmblood mare that will move to live with me in a few months.. Then I will start working with her too :) (all the hopes are up, some things still need to be sorted out) She is my friends horse.
This is Gvidons, about a year and a half ago when he was still a fantastic stallion..
This is him this december on a photoshoot. He has turned a bit chubby and more mamooth like, however his condition will improve when more work is given to him, at the moment he just lives outside 24/7 and enjoys life with a little herd and barely any work at all.. he is now 5.
This is my favourite portrait of him, showing how cute he is :P This is why I also call him my little Teddy Bear. The owner will also bring him to my place, and there he will live with Prega ( or any other horse if that doesnt work out) but he is definatelly moving to mine and we will make a great team. He is easy to ride and learns very fast.
This is me on a pony I get to ride sometimes. I hadn't ridden for a few months so I just took her for a little walk.
Just lazing about.. however we did walk over that obstacle, just for the fun of it :P
And as always, when I ride I am very happy, so I have a huge grin on my face. This pony is fantastic. I don't know how big she is, but she is almost 20, great health, very strong, willing to work and gets happy when she gets to run or jump. A few days after this I was riding her and as I noticed she is very bored with the same old dressage work in the manege, decided to go for a crazy canter around the arena! We both enjoyed it, just some other people could not understand how can I laugh when the pony is galloping like crazy! But I had full control over her :)
Anyway, I will have to make a few more posts slowly to get through the lot of the amazing horses :)

This is the last time I rode this lovely horse. He is now gone to another stable, and before this picture we had a lesson where I made him work a bit harder than usually, as others that rode him were mainly beginners, however I also found out he is not as fit as he used to be when I rode him a lot in winter. He is one of the horses I learnt the most with, he was 5-6 years old when I was riding him, I taught him a few things, whilst with him and my trainer I learnt a lot on him.
This is how me and Tucky looked like when we competed in jumping for the first time. My first time, and his first time and for me it was also first time jumping with him, but as my trainer said - I had just spent a month riding him almost every day in dressage.. he would do it for me. we scored 3rd from 11 (ok, i feel the need to tell you more, I had only had one jumping lesson in the past month, with another horse, and the others were kids jumping for many years already and also higher, i guess I got the style :P)
I did dressage with him then too, and ofc then we had white saddlepad and bandages.
This is in spring after the competitions in February 2012, I had come back home for a bit and went for a small ride. He hadnt been outside for a while, I hadnt ridden (wrong shoes, leg a bit bad, falling a lot more forwards etc, also due to my back problems) but we did fine.. or you can judge..
This is more trot, I was proud to see him forwards and almost perfectly round (it helped that he was excited to be outside again). I bent forwards a bit not to get hit by the trees but he kept his position for those few steps..
Pupolsvetdiena__9.jpg Starting the canter, or rather trying if I can still, cuz of the 2-3 months of no riding. Thats why the bad posture etc, wasnt thinking too much about it then, biggest aim was to stay on and keep working :P
But again, proud of how he worked that day :)
More canter. I am angry at my leg going like that, however he still needed a push, he never was one of the horses who willingly wanted to keep a rythm.. but happy of how he looks.
On the same day I also got to walk with my trainers and friends horse that they own together Lexus. Of course, now he looks different, moves different and doesnt use anykind of sidereigns. He was still very green even though 5, and putting me on him was kind of an experiment if he will accept another rider than his owners.
He is one of my favourites. i dont ride him, but I am his best groom and babysitter. I always help them out with him, make sure everything is alright..
Me cantering on Tucky before starting our jumps, took a lesson for the fun of it.. I am not a great jumper, neither is he, but we tried to have fun. I am not the best sitter in jumping saddles either.
As you can see, not the best jumper. This jump was our biggest problem, he tried to take me past it, and succeeded a few times, so the trainer stepped in. I have problems with everything when it comes to jumping - jumping with him, giving my hands forwards, taking my backside out of the saddle.. but he doesnt mind too much, he loved working with me.
And this is enough files for one post... more will come.. eventually, probably even tonight.

Thanks. But I do not have all the horses I rode, just the most recent ones. A lot of them never had a camera around... ridden way too many but learnt from each.
