May: In May, we had our first horse show together, and she was FABULOUS! She was really calm for being at her first show in like two years, at a barn she's only been to two other times before the show. We placed in all our classes. We got second out of four people in the EQ trot a pole class, second in the EQ walk/trot flat class, (there was only one other rider in the flat classes I entered, lol), first place in the pleasure walk/trot flat class, forth in cross rail hunter A 12"-18", fifth in cross rail hunter B 12"-18", and second in cross rail equitation over fences 12"-18".
June/July: We where going to do a schooling show in the end of June, but the BO had a family trip that weekend, so we couldn't go. In the beginning of July, we jumped over our 2ft together.<3 And continued to trainer her over cross rails and 2ft throughout July, she was amazing, and has been so willing over jumps, rarely refusing them at all.
August: This month has been amazing for Cayden and I. I took her to a riding lesson at my lesson barn, and we rode in the outdoor arena instead of the indoor like we usually do. And she settled in within five minutes, acting like she's been ridden in the lesson barn's outdoor arena for years! There, we jumped our first 2'3' and brick wall jump ever! I was a very proud mommy that day. A couple days later, I took her out for another riding lesson, where it wasn't the best riding lesson ever, mainly on my part, Cayden was a star, esp jumping over her first oxer.<3 On August 12th, I took her to our second horse show together and did really well. We got one 1st place, two 2nd places, one 3rd place, one 4th place and one 6th place. I'm so proud of her.<3 She's turning into a nice little hunter. I think my trainer really likes Cayden now, which I'm really happy about, lol. And all the little girls where giving Cayden all these compliments, I'm pretty sure Cayden loved getting the attention.[x
