Beautiful horse and fantastic pictures and tricks. But i'd like to know how you go about teaching these tricks? I'd like to start training my colt some of these as well as my mustang. But I have no idea how to go about it.
It takes alot of hard work and a horse with a bit of a curious personality...
We do tricks in sequence. Bow.. camel walk.. lay down.. roll over... sit... pivot while sitting.. and then stand back up. Your horse must first know WHOA extremely well... as in don't move an inch. Once you can get your horse to bow and stay down while you can walk a lap or two around him you can move on to the next trick in the sequence.
Wow, maybe I'll try some with Cinny, he's curious and when things spook or worry him, he has to touch it with his nose within 30 seconds....like he's saying "oh no, it's going to eat me...but I MUST see what it is....." ha ha. He also get bored with every day mumbo jumbo.
