I got back just in time for spring!

My stay in ND was ended early due to several reasons, but I couldn't be happier (although I miss my friend that I made up there...). Thelma made it through winter pretty darn well and Mana is just as bratty and spunky as ever. Feels great to be back!!

Mana waiting for Thelma to finish her mash.

Showing his brat face at being locked out.

Thelma, with a large wing knot in her mane.

Ready to go outside.

You can see where I got a big knot out of Mana's mane too.

That's just rude, Thelma.

Mana trying on his new saddle.

He annoys her so much.

Thelma, trying on the english saddle for a short ride.

New horses! And a Llama.

She so wanted to trot here, but she won't stay on the grass, so I don't let her. She seems to like trotting on cement. I am not so enthusiastic...

More new horses.

Mana hears something.

Thanks for looking!

Awww I bet they were happy to see you! :) T
Helma's ears are just so cute! Lacey has ones that are more like Mana's, less little and precious looking but also cute. Lol!

Lacey seems to enjoy trotting on cement/asphalt as well...it's weird. I figure she probably feels more stable because the ground is definitely solid beneath her feet, you know? She's generally pretty nervous about any footing that feels less than solid. I don't let her do it either, the crushed gravel on the trails is hard enough I think.

They are definitely an entertaining pair! They are getting a new pasture buddy next week(Not mine, my BO's), so expect lots of pictures. Thelma likes to kick butt and runs around all show ring arab-y with her neck arched and tail over her back when she meets new horses. I am determined to get photos!!
