I have died and gone to...an alternate universe....

So I've been asking my mother for pictures of Charlie, and Red, and Josie, and Sugar, and the cows, and my dogs.....you get the picture....for the last 5 months I have had 1 sorta fuzzy picture of Charlie from her....one.

Well my sister, her fiancé and their kiddos just got down to the farm in NM for spring break and MY. SISTER. The one who hates my horses. The one who rode ONE of my horses ONE time for just enough time to get pictures of her up on her....four years AFTER I got said horses....she managed to send me not one, not two but three pics of my horses and three of my moomoos lol....

Anywho. You can imagine my excitement on getting my first "look" in over five months of my children...I think it looked something like this...






After maniacally staring at said photos for who knows how long, without further adieu....

Holy chest! I know its hard to see in this pic but having only seen him 3 times in as many years the amount he's GROWN is mind blowing, and sad to me!

I'm just sorry that you have to be so far away from your "family". Your joy at seeing something we all take for granted has reminded me to appreciate the ease with which I can see my "family', any time I want.

Aaaw thanks Caroline. Honestly I shouldn't complain. I knew what I was getting into when I enlisted and I knew there would be times I couldn't have them...but I definitely was not imagining being stuck on an island where I couldn't ship them to for three years rofl

Wish I coulda been there for the kids first time riding my...kids lol but pictures will suffice!

Is that days until your leave? How much time are you taking? Are you going to fly commercial, or did you get some Military transport?

Yeah. I'm going home from June 1-28th! Im flying commercial into Dallas where I'll meet up with my sister foe my 21st birthday party and then staying there fpe 2 weekes for her wedding and then going to NM for the remainder
