I just have to brag about my job.. :)

I got a job working for Sea Island Stables/ Frederica Stables on St Simons Island for the summer as a trail guide! I have been working 2-4 days a week with the horses. So far it's been a great experience! Pay's decent and sometimes we get tipped ;)

Riding a 4 year old Paint cross, Pino

Smoky skies from fires

Riding my friend's old 17 year old Appy gelding, Jack Frost

And a few more of Jack just because he's so adorable :)

Him falling asleep between rides (standing stalls on part of Sea Island, where the rides are..trailered there in the morning)

He was left behind for one ride and we got back and he had turned around in his standing stall

Poking his head out of his door at the main barn

Yes it is :) I'm hoping to become a year-round employee helping with an after school program getting school work done along with barn chores and lessons, etc. The barn is just starting the progran this fall so I'm really hoping that it works out!

Haha the girl in charge of the "trail barn" (there are 4 barns at the main stables..trail, show, lesson, & boarders) moved here from Marietta, GA in October just for the job. I wish I had it full-time! But it can be really tiring from he heat all day, one downside! It gets hot and humid down here!

Screw the heat, you get to trail ride all day! I'd be the most relaxed person EVER if that was my job. Instead of this stupid corporate crap with me sitting here in front of my computer on HF instead of working... well that parts not so bad. Hehe
