So I got to go see my old horses this summer. I missed them so much! They thought me everything, I learned how to ride on them.
Let me introduce..

And

Comanche(8yro Quarter Horse Gelding):

Cute. I love Thunder. And what's this about Comanche being struck by lightning?

About 3 years ago there was this really bad storm and all the horses stayed out,they had no shelter(this was not when I had them). Thunder, Comanche, and Little Red(my little cousins horse) were standing out under a tree just grazing away and the next thing you know, you hear all the horses go bizzeric! Little Red was the first to get struck, but he died right then and there, which has scared my cousin so badly. Then I don't know what happened, but Comanche got struck and fell to the ground. There owners(my cousins grandma and grandpa) said they ran out there and he was still alive, trying to get up, so they called the vet. I don't wait happened after that, but he is fine and lively as ever now! My little cousin eventually got another horse and they built a shelter for the horses. But unfortunately my cousins new horse(stormy) died from Colic. He then got another horse this summer and after 5 days it died from sleeping sickness(a disease from mosquitoes). I fell so bad for him, cause his luck has not been so good. But this summer he helped me train Abby and he's had so much fun and they have such a great bond. So instead of taking my saddle and everything with me to Arizona, I left it all behind in Alabama for him to go out and ride her.
Here is a pic of him and her:
