My day started like this:
"You'll be on Leo today..."
"Oh, alrighty!" *starts walking down to fetch him*
"...wait...you're not going to fight me on this?"
Apparently my trainer was expecting trouble bahaha.
Anyways...Leo had lots of energy today. He decided that he was going to be a little snot and buck every time I asked him to canter. It all started when I was working on flying changes. We went across the arena...I asked for the change...and BAM big buck. I'm used to bucks, but little baby Brooke bucks. These were big boy bucks, haha. There was time where I was just kinda chilling in the air from when he bucked to when I landed back in the saddle, baha.
He refused...three times. They were all my fault...I felt him sucking back and didn't react enough. BUT...he kept bucking! We'd start at the canter...BUCK. He'd refuse a fence...BUCK. We'd land from the fence...BUCK. It was SO MUCH FUN! Normally I'd be scared outta my mind...but I kinda enjoyed it! ^-^
Aaand...my trainer said that today I rode the toughest she's ever seen me ride. On any horse. And I jumped an OXER with Leo! On the first try! I don't think that's ever worked before, lol.
Unfortunately my sister took me today and ditched me as soon as I was out of the car...but I took pictures after my lesson :)
It's really hard to take pictures of yourself and a big horse head, though, so sorry about the 'eh' pictures.
^-^ I am sooo proud of both Leo and I - this time last year it was all bad news. And now...that's TWO good rides in a row!
