I was so set on a gelding...

So I was looking for a stock-type gelding to get to be able to trail ride on, work on some arena work, & most of all, be able to pony my 2 yr old off of until I can start riding him. I was SOOO set on a QH or Paint GELDING.... Andddd... I ended up getting contacted by a lovely couple in Riverside & falling in love with this pretty girl. Meet my new baby, Stormy... 9 year old Percheron mare. ♥ This picture doesn't show how MASSIVE she is... will get tons more tomorrow. Omg, I love her!!!

Stunning! I love her thick neck! I know what you mean about mares, when looking for my second horse I was dead set on no mares. And then I bought possibly the mariest mare who ever lived. She was perpetually in heat, during the WINTER. And now I got another mare, let's hope she's not so marey! Haha

    Thanks guys!
After looking at her feet in the pictures, they do look weird but in real life they are normal! She was just trimmed & in my opinion she was done too short & then they slapped shoes on her fronts. Poor thing is so tender footed! Luckily, she came with some Easy Boots for her fronts & she is way more comfortable in those.
