I sometimes ride with a guy we call "The Color Coordinated Cowboy". Everything of his matches including this hat and chaps - if he could only ride as well as he thinks he looks.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

It's not always what you say but what they hear.

Bill, my dad was at a point taking lessons at a big barn, with this gentleman. We like to say 'all the gear, no idea'
However, his friends in Dubai had set a bet that he could jump a 1.25m course after riding for a year. I suppose if you have the money...

But he was always ridiculously well preened. More so than any dressage diva I have ever seen. Bought his own tack for a school master he was riding. They both matched.

He lost the bet.

I guess you could call me color-coordinated, but for a good reason. No one likes plain dark colors. All my stuff is black or dark blue. Everything has neon colors or bright patterns. My stuff doesn't go missing, no one wants to use it, it's to boring

He looks lovely in those colors! :)

I have a similar issue. Most of my stuff for Lacey is turquoise, purple, magenta/fuschia, or pink. It would be pretty ok except for the small fact that my "horse coat" is also turquoise (her saddle pad and I often match) and I have a pair of magenta/fuschia pants that are super comfy for riding in... I really feel like a dork when my horse is all matching and I match my horse.
And, of course, all this matching didn't happen really on purpose...it just kinda happened. haha!

Fabio - 13 year old Arabian/Lipizzan gelding
Hazel - 14 year old Angora goat

Atticus - 4 year old LaMancha/Alpine cross goat

Rest peacefully, Lacey.
