The greatest appeal of eventing is being able to flash the matching colors!!

For some odd reason, this made me think of the movie, "Rustlers' Rhapsody," starring Tom Berenger. All his outfits match perfectly and he pretty much always matches his horse (it's a movie that pokes fun of pretty much EVERY spaghetti western ever made lol).

As for matching tack. I am horrible about it. My halter is red and white, my lead is red and black, my AP saddle pad is red, my polos are red and black lumberjack plaid. I'm making a saddle pad for my Aussie saddle that is also red and black lumberjack plaid (so excited!). I am looking for a red nylon halter that will fit Aires' massive noggin. When I do end up getting him a winter blanket, it will be red and black (red and black plaid, if I can find one). If I could find the fly mask I had for my old gelding (EZ Pet Supply - Kensington Fly Mask with Fleece Trim) in a size that would fit Aires, I would get one. I also have a red and black lumberjack plaid bandana that I wear under my helmet when I ride. I desperately want red and black lumberjack plaid Chuck Taylors, but they don't make them, and that makes me very sad.

Do not tell me I can't...because I will show you that I can.

Love the riding pictures! You guys look like you're going to do a team game or something!

I am horrid about matching.. I have some hunter green stuff.. some navy blue, then a purple blue paid sheet, brown leather halter, black tack... lord.

But he looks gorgeous no matter what! LOL.
