(I'm new) - Pictures of Sophie :)

Hey, I just joined! (Sept 10, 5:32am) hehe. I'm 16, and my mom and I both have a horse. Hers is an 8 yr old thouroughbred, named Mark. (soon to be sold :() And mine is grumpy old Sophie. Lol. She's from 25-30 yrs old, no particular breed, although there's suspected a little bit of Arab in her, because of her face.

Just Sophie:

Here's some pics of my friend Chris, riding her. (yes, I know the stirrups are too high)

Thanks! And yea, I've heard she looks good for her age a couple times. As long as she's up to it, I'll keep riding her, not for a long time or anything though. But she's great with other people riding her. (before we got her, she was a retired trail rider in need of a rescue) I can take her on the road, in the woods, in any of the feilds we have. (we live on 77 acres) She doesn't spook easily at all - Although, she doesn't really like cows all that much.. if you talk to her though, and get her to walk on, she'll do it. I'm really quite happy with her, and I couldn't ask for any more from her, than she already does for me - especially at her age. :)

lol thanks everyone. Well, she's my baby. (weird because she's older than me) haha. But I try to make her stay at our place as nice as possible.I looooove to brush her, and talk to her. I plan to keep her here on the farm for the rest of her life. Even when I go to college, I'll come every weekend at least, (if not, nights too) to come see her, and play with her. :) I can't imagine going back to the city, for college and leaving my baby. I just won't do it.
