Introducing Chance - new forest x tb mare.

So I went to look at a horse today, she's going free to a good home due to her owners work commitment & working with her yearling, they are more interested in a good home than the money. She's a 17yr old New Forest Pony x Thoroughbred. 14.2hh, brown (i think?) mare. :) as far as I can tell she's an absolute sweetie. I only had a little plod about the paddock for a couple of minutes on her due to her having a loose shoe, but she behaved perfectly, surprisingly since she hadnt been ridden for a month. What do you think? :)

She looks really nice. I like the third pic you both look relaxed and like your having a pleasant time.

She could be good company for your other mare, too. Do you have any others?

Oh Negrita has been sold. She was just temporary because she was in need of some tlc. She is now with a lovely family that want to use her for light beach hacking :) they are the reason I came across Chance, she's at the same yard :)

She looks sweet. It will amaze you what some conditioning and proper work can do to improve her overall topline and shape.

I would suggest vetting her, even though she is free. If she has some chronic issues she may end up costing a pretty penny. If she vets decently (doesn't have to be perfect), I would jump on her.

Doesnt necessarily mean she's bay though since she has the mealy muzzle, she's actually alot lighter in colour than she seems in the photos. Lol I don't know, i'll leave it to the colour experts to argue over xD
