    Introducing everyone

First of all, the big people

Appy Gilmore, and Not Quite a Lady also known as Mr G and Bert, both bargain basement buys, but both now doing great, Mr G is my dressage horse, he is doing well, and without the handicap of his rider would be doing a lot better I'm sure. He is my go to boy, and has taught me so much. Bert, well I've updated about her enough, my project, a work in progress.

And Ace, I've owned her just over a year, and I wish I'd owned her for ever, I am totally daft over this girl, she is lukewarm about me, I love her sensible nature, her spark, her snort and blow, I love that she is such a sensible and good mum, and she has not the slightest spark of malice or spite in her.

Of course Ace now has a foal at foot, my little Angel, who MAY just be the one, there is something about this little girl, she certainly won't have perfect conformation, she will be papered as part bred Arab, but the big thing, she totally has a 'look at me attitude' with Ace to raise her I have great hopes for this baby

We can't forget Bert's 'little boy' Stewie the Moose, born 28th Feb this year and already bigger than the yearlings

Then of course there are a few Haflingers about, lets get the embarresment over and show you the fatties first, they have been out on rather to much rough grass and have made the best of it, while I have have been spending more time with the riding horses and the mares and foals. These three are now in the starvation paddock, trying to lose fat before the winter, I forsee a lot of ponying for Mr G this fall, dragging these guys out for exercise. OH and a few happy hours de burring for me

The daddy of all the young uns, Alto

Little Elena, not so darn little now,

My beautiful Fancy, I'm going to have to try with her again

    Who does that leave?

Oh yes Destiny, who may just turn out to be the best of the bunch, I like her because she has the best brain of the bunch, Fancy reacts then thinks, Elena is a mare at the best of times, but Destiny works things out, and she has a beautiful movement

Destiny's foal from this year, Wombat, with an appearance by Alfie

Then Fancys yearling Prince, who is so like his mum at times, but far braver, yes I know his halter is to loose, my bad, I was trying to find enough to catch everyone, and just put it on him because it was the closest to hand.

And last of all Alfie, Elenas son from last year, who definitely takes after his mum, he can be a right mare as well

Hard for me to pick a favourite from your herd, so I won't try

What a lovely, healthy looking herd you have! They are all obviously well loved and cared for, content and happy. What more could we hope for?

They are all so cute! I love all the chunky haffie butts!

I feel ya on the burrs. I spent 2 hours on Woodstock yesterday. If only it was acceptable for my style of horses to sport the roached look...le sigh.
