Introducing Maties Bar Boy AKA "Doc"

Here is Doc we have had him about a month now... Wow time flys

we have been taking it very slow with him. He has not been worked with in almost 5 years
He is 15 and was used for 4h and barrels and that is just what we have planned for him.
he is out of shape and was in a terrible need of a trim. But he is doing better and we are hoping to get a first ride with him tonight.

here is Doc

this is before I had his feet trimmed they were so bad :(

he has a kind eye

he wanted to be friends with Faith the rescue horse but she was not so happy

Bre really loves him this was the night we brought him home..

she rode him for the first time last night! he did great rusty but you could see he was trying. the reason we had not rode him before now was due to his feet needing trimming before we got him and then other little things . she rode him in a bosal rather than his usual bit ( he came with a custom made for him bit) he seemed to pick that up well.

it was very dusty in the arena sorry its hard to see

Congrats! Looking forward to seeing him in shape!
