Introducing Ricky :D

So I've had Ricky for 10 days now. He's a 1yo purebred QH yearling. He lacks a little bit of manners, and is food aggressive, but he's learning not to be like that. He's a hunter (western) prospect. Any critique nice or mean is appreciated.

Woah! Congrats! He's very handsome! And he looks extremely tall!!! Good luck with him!! Hope he's everything your looking for!

WOW. He looks stunning. I can't see anything wrong with him at the moment. Congrats. You have chosen very wisely.

By the way, I LOVE his facial marking. Unusual star and snip.

He's a lovely little chap!!!

Only thing that I can really see is that he looks a tad thick in the throat latch area. Also, his hind legs look a bit upright, but this could just be the way he is standing and the angle of the pic

I must agree on his markings though!! So cute! And he has a beautiful face and a very kind eye!

Is he entire?

I am surprised! He looks like he has great conformation! Congratulations! His hind legs might be a little upright, but could be the way he is standing, yes. Very nice chest, neck, eyes are bug and set wide apart (people say that means more intelligence) Hi crest is kind of flat, but, overall, he looks like a great horse!

Yes, Velvet, he's pure-bred quarter horse.
His manners are getting so much better and we're starting pivots, proper showmanship halts and jogging on the lead rope without getting aggressive.
I'll take some confirmation pictures this afternoon once I get home from school. Its last lesson now so I'll be home, in about an hour. YAY!
