Introducing Spree!

I made sure and took my camera today when I went out to ride. Spree is a 8 year old, 15.3 hh Pintabian/Thoroughbred mare. She's been ridden Western primarily but her movements are so floaty that I'm planning on transitioning her to English after I've been riding her for a couple of months. Her owner took some pictures of me riding her (unbeknown to me), but they're from far away and would be tough to critique, so I'll wait until I have some better ones to get feedback on.

(her owner lunging her, not me)

When I first glanced at the photos I though my gosh that horse is really sway backed! Then I realized it was the dark patch at her withers She is a really pretty girl, very flashy. I love the light colored mane and dark tail combo.

She's very beautiful, I adore her coloring and she looking like she'd very smooth to ride with her floating gaits. Pretty daintly little arabian head too, very pretty girl!!

Thanks everyone I rode her bareback for the first time today, and I can't remember the last time I've done that. It was wonderful. Some more pictures, because she's pretty:

Small as in compact, or small as in short? She's 15.3 hh, so average height I suppose. I'm 5'5'', so she's a good height for me.

Ah, the old halter issue. She's not my horse, I'm just leasing her. And yes, I do, because it's what her owner requests that I do.
