I like your hot pink lunge line and the lime green western bridle.
What did Jake think of the saddle? What time did you go to the barn today? It was soooo hot out!

Great progress! I would keep adding weight because his hips are still jutting out a bit. Btw that saddle looks puny on him-how tall is he? And also, he looks sad in the 'before' pictures and more attentive and interested in the 'after' pictures so good work getting his mood up too :)

We are still adding plenty of weight and just exercising him lightly to start building some muscle tone. We just got the ok to exercise from the vet on Thursday and this was his first time on the lunge line He's about 17h I think, that saddle is a 19" all purpose crosby, so that shows you how big he is!

He's looking so much better already. Great job!

I give myself very good advice, But I very seldom follow it

OMG!! He looks so much better. And look at the energy in his movement, WOW. He is so much happier and looks perfectly content under saddle. I love his stride, he just looks so happy.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/
