Jake the Belgian - Then and Now!! WOW!

Here is Jake the day we went to look at him 7/15/2009





And here he is today 8/15/2009 exactly 1 month later!

Dude... I love that lung line! Haha! And my goodness he has really gussied up! You are doing great with him. He looks wayyyy more happy now then he did when you first got him :-D.

I like your hot pink lunge line and the lime green western bridle.
What did Jake think of the saddle? What time did you go to the barn today? It was soooo hot out!

Great progress! I would keep adding weight because his hips are still jutting out a bit. Btw that saddle looks puny on him-how tall is he? And also, he looks sad in the 'before' pictures and more attentive and interested in the 'after' pictures so good work getting his mood up too :)

Hey Laura, thanks :) Jake didnt mind the saddle at all got to the barn around 12, lunged him and went home it was tooo hot to ride!

We are still adding plenty of weight and just exercising him lightly to start building some muscle tone. We just got the ok to exercise from the vet on Thursday and this was his first time on the lunge line He's about 17h I think, that saddle is a 19" all purpose crosby, so that shows you how big he is!

OMG!! He looks so much better. And look at the energy in his movement, WOW. He is so much happier and looks perfectly content under saddle. I love his stride, he just looks so happy.
