Jet wearing a saddle for the first time

I put a saddle on Jet yesterday he didn't mind it at all. When I showed it to him he put it in his mouth for a few seconds and I just put it on his back. I'm pretty proud of him he isn't even one year old yet and he is such a good boy. And don't worry the saddle is a very very light nylon saddle. So hopefully by the time he is two he will be easy to get on and teach how to be ridden. Gotta wait a whole year though but I can't wait!

Awww look at him! He looks great!! I did the same thing with Rodeo, and he has about 4 rides on him now, and he's doing awesome, hasnt bucked, or thought twice about anything! Look forward to seeing Jet grow!

He's growing so fast to he will be a year old in July. I like to start messing with my young horses as much as I can. I'm always looking for good stuff to desensitize them. I had a two year old colt I sold to a 13 year old girl who rides him everywhere people can't believe he is so young ( three now). He acts like you have been riding him for years.
