Just a few new pix of part of my herd.

Just wanted to show off some new pictures of some of my herd.

Rafe, with some John, Dobe, and Taz mixed in:

Even poor Dobe is a midget next to him now. Rafe is pushing 16 hands now .

Oh, how badly I wanted to put my saddle on him and see what he felt like , but alas, he is only 18 months old.

Definitely not used to having a bit in his mouth

He looks rather dashing in a bit and bridle but when it comes time to actually break him to ride, I will have to make a bridle for him. The browband is far too small for his big honkin' head .

Big John's big butt:

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Continued.

He has developed a bit of a white spot in his mane from where his collar sits when he is harnessed. I think it makes him look very stylish .

Bessie (I'm 95% certain that Rafe will have a mane like hers when he's grown):

And last but not least, Dobe:

Very sexy windblown look LOL.

(put him in the 1 complete pen because I planned to ride as soon as I could drag my saddle out of the trailer)

D'awwww . Evil little monsters.

LOL . Not a chance. I want to find out what he's going to be like under saddle before anything else.

Wow! Rafe has matured into such a handsome young man! And so grown up looking too! Holy cow! I have such a hard time remembering that he's so young! Dobe looks like a colt next to him.

John looks so very debonair, very dashing!

*pouts* No pics of Taz??

Aww. Poor Dobe. He looks like just a lil guy compared to those three. Rafe is going to be a bigggg boy. But he is so cute!

And John is dashing, as always.

I agree with Plains Drifter though: Where's Taz???
