Me and Jynx ended 2012 with a VERY successful schooling show that finally saw the show jitters avoid us. We cleaned house pinning in every class we entered except one, and even getting 1st place in 2'0" jumpers (her first EVER jumper class) out of about 20 entries! My coach also took Jynx to her first sanctioned Dressage show in September 2012 and she was a CHAMP - all above 65% at Training Level and one test over 70%! Jynx also has a partboarder who is 16 and learning to ride Dressage and jumping on her and hopefully will be showing her in 2013 at some fun shows! I am hoping finances finally give me a break and I am able to show Jynx at some sanctioned Dressage shows although they will only be bronze, not gold like I originally intended. Next year I hope to have her passported and compete at gold level! She will be 6 this year and is just doing so brilliant! She is schooling all second level movements quite easily and her gaits have just become unreal! I am so proud of her and looking forward to show season!
Video still from our latest lesson with my new jumping coach! 2'9" and looking a TON better than in October! My jumping position went to CRAP since developing scoliosis! This lesson gave me hope!
Yawn, it's a hard life
Out on a nice winter bareback trail ride!
Jynx and her partboarder in a lesson with me! She's SO good with her, just takes the best care of her!
With her partboarder again!
All fat and sassy when I got back from Mexico!
Perky ears dammit!
My double personality showing in each of my horses, LOL! Oh and Jynx is also wearing the saddle that has resulted in me eating KD for the next 6 months - a flawlessly perfect Amerigo Vega Dressage saddle in mint condition that I picked up for a SONG at $1,500!
Almost square halt!
Stretchy pony is stretchy
Lesson with Kali!
