Jynxy on a sunny winter day!

As some of you may know, temperatures in Canada have been absolutely unbelievable. We've been on a 6 week stretch of temps hovering just below and even above zero. Yesterday it was +4 celsius! With the sun and barely any wind, it was downright TROPICAL. I snapped some fantastic pics of Kali on Jynx!

Trotting!

Prancy pon!

Can't wait til that mane flops!

I just LOVE that my trainer loves my horse this much. She just downright adores working with her, says she's so smart and talented, it's a joy!

She's starting to look a bit better, she was getting downright FAT! For the first time ever, she hit 1,100 pounds this winter! (after battling with her weight for 6 months at 938 pounds!)

Such a good work horse!

Close up of her gorgeous head!

Bend Jynxy, bend!

LOVE this photo! She's just so darn pretty!

Working so nicely!

Canter time! So much more balanced then when we started!

Hehehe, charge!

LOVE this pic to! Definitely going to be my 2013 January calendar pic!

She looks great MM!

Strange weather everywhere. It was 50 degrees f here today. It should be freezing. I wore a long sleeve t-shirt to do chores....weird.

Life is like a camera. Focus on what's important, Capture the good times, Develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, Take another shot.

She is looking terrific! Enjoyed the photos.

Hehe thanks guys! I'm thrilled with how far she's come! The plan is to have Kali ride her for 2 more months, and then start lessons for 3 months before show season! Our goal is above 60% in at least one Training Level test this year, hehe, we'll see!

Sooo...I'm stealing her. ;)
Freaking gorgeous mare you have there! I'm not a fan of paints but I would definitely snatch this pretty girl up haha.

Where are you in Canada? I'm in Calgary and we have been hovering around zero for a while now too! I've already ditched the winter blanket and put on a quilt, poor pony was sweating off all of his winter poundage haha. Usually it's like -25, never really experienced such a mild winter!
