Oh, he really is

he's the biggest sweetheart I know.
Well unfortunately I don't really know his story for sure..I have guesses, but..
When I went to buy my new horse, I was just looking for a sane, experienced horse that could jump and potentially do dressage..in the back of my mind I was thinking I'd love to rescue a horse in need, but it wasn't necessarily my main goal at the time. But then I came across him and just loved him! And he just happened to have been neglected. He was at this really overcrowded horse dealer type place..
I don't have any proof, but from the looks of things there I'm pretty sure they were the reason for his condition. Most of the other horses I saw were in decent condition..at least weight-wise (a few weren't and I couldn't have possibly seen them all) but the thing with him is that he's a very passive horse and is obviously used to having food stolen from him, and he was in a pasture with a bunch of other horses and I can easily guess that he wasn't getting much food while he was there (they said 6 months but who knows) and obviously no attention or care at all..when I went there he was filthy and we're pretty sure he was wormy, too..
The sad thing is, I'm pretty sure right before he went to these people he was being taken very good care of. He was at least with somebody who was blanketing him, because he's definitely not used to being out in the weather and has needed a blanket a whole lot more than what I'd normally do xD
But anyway..that's all I've got xD
*oh, and I must add, of course the people I bought him from didn't seem to have a story straight but the recurring theme was "it isn't our fault" xD
