First up, we have her mane in a cute lil' diamond braid. I had two lesson kids with birthdays a week apart so I did Lacey's mane and tail for them to "celebrate".
I love my rainbow hair ties! Hahaha
Then, there's a girl (who I met on here, actually... "Dagny") who's been coming out to hang out with Lacey and I about once a week for the last month or two. It's been really fun. I just wish I had two horses so we could both ride at the same time!
She came this last Tuesday but sadly didn't get to ride much. Lacey was just being too hot about EVERYTHING so I ended up riding a little bit, then I lunged Lacey so she didn't get the idea that she could be crazed and get out of whatever.
Anyway, here's me lunging a very excited Lacey. Hahaha
We actually got snow. I was so excited. I saw SorrelHorse's snow yesterday and was sad that we didn't get any. Then I woke up this morning and the first thing I saw was 3 inches of snow on everything! I was like "WAT???!" It was great. Sadly it melted really fast but it was there.
Apparently my parents camera (the one I've been using since my camera decided to fail) hates snow... I couldn't figure out how to fix it. :(
"I will peer at you through the fence thing...maybe you won't see me?"
Off on our ride:
"The Water Feature" was HUGE [compared to usual]! I love it so much, it makes me feel like I'm doing a very safe version of Eventing. Hahahaha! In any case, I made Lacey trot through it for funnsies (she's fine walking through water...so....). She was not too happy about it but she did it and I was proud of her.
Her trot going through it was probably my favorite thing, it felt like she was lifting her legs SO high, like that was going to help her out or something. XD
Walking home after our ride...
Dirty legs from our beast puddle trotting maneuvers. Lol!
Cute pony face:
She looks like she was talking or something...
Cussing me out for making her go through that puddle fast and getting water splashed in her "no-no area" seems likely...
Thanks for looking! :)
