So I don't have very many pictures to share but I figured I'd show that we're both still alive and not dead on some trail somewhere.
This next week is our last week at camp and I'm super bummed. I've loved basically keeping my horse at "home" and being able to care for every one of her needs and not have to worry about how she's doing or if she's being appropriately loved. But I guess all we can do is just look forward to next summer since we're hopefully going back.
And then, I'm really worried about Lacey is going to adjust to being at her previous house. I mean, she does really well in a small herd/pair situation and she's been just adoring all the attention she gets at camp. I'm not sure how she's going to handle the sudden placement into a larger herd again with limited human interaction. I kinda feel like I'm gonna have a clingy baby again. Hahaha
But anyway, pictures!
Here are two that I took on a trail ride to/on the tree farm:
(Lacey LOVES the tree farm, she tries to go there whenever possible, lol)
And then, my friend "Blueberry" took these before and during the ride:
Before, while I was tacking up our horses.
I LOVE this picture. Lacey was watching for me to reappear out of the tack room.
My circa 1952 saddle...
My girl and I on the way to the tree farm:
That was it! Thanks for looking! :)
I can't wait to be seeing more of you all in about a week!
