She's been at my neighbor's house for about a month now and she's loving it! My neighbors seem to love seeing me riding her around the neighborhood and some of them save carrots for her and then when we go past come out to give them to her. Needless to say, Lacey has a new found love for houses.
We've also been doing lots of trail riding and she's really been liking that too. She's basically a bomb trail horse. When we're on the road going to the woods she's all over the place and annoying but once we hit the woods, she's all business. It's really cute.
We've also been giving lessons to three little girls every weekend and Lacey can't get enough of that. She LOVES little girls so this is basically her calling. She's so careful with them (two of them are 6 and the other is 9), I mean, she's careful with everybody, but with these little kids she's extra careful.
She's also about halfway done with her winter coat so she looks like a beast! She's not fully yak-i-fied yet but she's trying really hard to get there!
There were some migrant workers working in the yard across the road and they were playing music. Either she was hoping for some love or she likes mariachi music. :P
I found her laying down one day! I've NEVER seen her lay down before this. I know she does, but I've just never seen it. She got up right after I took this picture.
Her eye! I really like this picture...
Angry trail pony with scary sun! Ahhhhh! This is her Halloween costume. :P
She wanted to demonstrate to me how easy it was for her to turn her self into a pinto pony after being completely white.
What a jerk. Haha
She's silly. But I love her. Yay for pictures.
