Annanoel- I've been on "Oregon Tack Swap" (where I got the blanket) and one that's just called "TACK SWAP" (where I got the SMBs and a saddle! lol). So far I haven't had issues. I've heard of people having issues but for the most part, it sounds like everyone on those ones has had pretty good experiences. I also don't pay without using PayPal, to give myself some way of keeping myself safe, you know? :)

New_Image, I totally agree and thanks! They're really gorgeous right now. I just want to be out there, with all the greenness ALL THE TIME! lol
There are so many native flowers out there too, I don't know about other places, but in Oregon, native plants and species are somewhat of a rarity. Yay for native stuff!

Lockwood, you are too funny.
I bet her mom was the cat, I know "who" her dad was but her mom is a total mystery. I do know her mom was the gray in the equation because Lacey's dad is/was registered as black, but other than that, there's zero information. She was probably definitely a gray tabby. ;D
The new lovely Lacey doesn't like it when I smoosh her face in (she'll allow it, for 5 seconds and no more, haha) but she's totally ok with smooshing my face in. Her current favorite thing is to stick her head over my shoulder, cup her nostril around my ear, and nuzzle/mutual groom with her lips whatever part of me she can reach. She tried mutually lip grooming my face the other day while I massaged her neck but I put a stop to that - didn't want to die.
I actually got that flymask at a local tack store. I love it too! It gives enough eyeball clearance and Miss "Ima Champion-at Flymask Removal" can't get it off! I found them on Amazon but plus shipping, the price ended up being more for me than it would be to just buy another at the tack store. However, that might work for you!
Here's one that's yearling/small sized (Lacey wears this size and her head isn't super tiny): Kensington Super Mesh Bug Eye Fly Mask | Pet Supplies, Horse Supplies, Dog Supplies |
Also, look on Amazon. :)

Aww that's sad Tiny! It sounds like she has a really caring owner though. And how awesome that her owner got 10 more years with her. What a girl!
You should definitely get a picture! I want to see this Lacey twin!

Fabio - 13 year old Arabian/Lipizzan gelding

Rest peacefully, Lacey.

Nothing like coming home from work on a friday and plopping down in front of a Lacey photo thread! I has a happy.
I am so glad she's getting back to her old self. What a character she is.

And, as always, thanks for sharing her with us! That story with the llamas was too funny.

We drink to our youth, to the days come and gone; for the age of oppression is now nearly done.

Hmmm, yeah I could see how missing the end of your nose and part of your ear could present a small problem.
Sounds like it makes for a very cute picture though...
Um, I mean the mutual grooming, not you having parts of your face missing!
Thanks for the fly mask link. KV is the one place I hadn't looked yet and it appears that it is exactly whay my guy needs.
