Lacey shows off her old lady trot:

But you wouldn't know she's an old lady! She was out in the rain and, surprisingly, was not under something (she has shelter she just didn't use it like she usually does) so her back is all wet. >.<

I absolutely love taking pictures of her when it's overcast, she seems to "pop" so much better. And the grass looks more delicious. Haha

We were really in sync today, she wanted to really trot and I was catching all the extended moments, yay!

Funny picture first: I thought it was hilarious how high she's lifting her legs right here, I think there was a pricker bush or something that she was trying to avoid.

All four feet in the air! Not bad for an old lady! =P

Showing off her extension:

Dressage horse? Haha She's too cute for words.

And this one is pretty much my favorite...

Aww, she's cute. Old horses have their moments, and when they do, they're awesome.

She's 24. So she's not ancient yet but she's definitely not young.

Thanks guys! I love her. She's such a character.

It was so weird, usually she runs from the rain but not last night! Silly girl.

Her trot is my favorite of her gaits, she gets into it so much. From what I've gathered about her great-great grandpa, he was known for his killer trot that I guess has turned out to be kinda "his trademark". Funnily enough she looks exactly like him.
