Lacey would like to wish you all something... (plus more Lacey-ness)

Lacey life update: she has like 5 kids wanting to take lessons from us now, she is rapidly gaining popularity in our neighborhood (she's even friends with a semi-famous person who lives nearby!!), and she might be taking part in a half-lease soon.

The girl who might want to lease her came out yesterday and it was really great! She was super nice, she loved Lacey, and most importantly, Lacey seemed to like her! So hopefully that works out, and if it doesn't, that's ok too. :)

Today we went on a ride and we came across a family with a Bouvier des Flanders and Lacey was TERRIFIED of it. I don't think she's ever seen a dog that fluffy before because dogs in general don't scare her at all. She was freaking out and finally the dog jumped and barked at her, which, entertainingly enough, caused her to immediately calm down like "Ah ha! I know what that is!! It's a dog!". It was really really funny. She was so so scared of it when it was being all calm and nice, but once it actually got aggressive, she was totally fine. Silly horse!

Full body shot to show off her tail, I'm so proud of that thing! It's finally the thickness I want. Now I just need to get it down to at least her fetlocks since right now, when she's moving and picks her tail up, that tail of hers is barely hitting her hocks!

Duffy- That's probably exactly what she was going for. She did want her "grain" which I add water to (old lady teeth and all, even though she still has all of them!!) so it's kinda like mash...hahaha!

Csimkunas- That's really great! Rodeo sounds like he is going to be such a great riding horse when you guys get there. :)

Tiny- I will for sure! I'm a little apprehensive about it just because Lacey can be so much horse, but with the right, low-key, person, I've seen Lacey be as calm as they come. And I guess apprehension is a reasonable feeling since I'm allowing someone else to have part control over MY baby! Haha

Wild Heart- I know, right? It's so great! I kinda put it there to mock her a little (worst owner EVER!! Hahaha) because she's basically a manly horse stuck inside the girly-est body ever.
