    Talking LaceyShmace and the goats!

So nothing has really been "happening" with Lacey n' the G's.
I have a crazy school schedule and Lacey has been lame for forever (it got better then got worse recently...sad) so all we've basically been doing is hanging out for a bit in the morning and the evening, then hanging out alll morning on Friday's when I don't have school. It could be worse. :)

On the Lacey front, the vet is coming on Saturday to take a look at her. *fingers crossed it's nothing serious*
That's a bit depressing. On the plus side, even though she's crazy lame, her mind is really happy. She's not at all like she is when her eyes hurt so that's nice!
She's a bit bored after being "off" for the last 3 weeks but mild boredom is the worst of it.

Goat-wise, they're super happy. They've been settling in really well and haven't escaped yet! Hahaha
They're not afraid of Lacey anymore, just reasonably cautious. Atticus even walks under Lacey's belly sometimes which is terrifying+cute with those horns of his. Hopefully he'll get too big soon!

I also finally got Hazel's blanket in the mail! It looks super cute on her - there is a picture. :) She actually didn't hate having it on as much as I thought she would! She was a bit confused by the velcro on it but otherwise she did not mind.

    Pictures!

As a couple of my friends said, here's their rap cd cover!

Running Hazel! I love her ears. THE BEST.

    Eyeball!

She really likes her hay net. She thinks it's real fun.

This sweet kitty walked me up to the pasture today. So cute!

    Snaggle tooth Lacey!

    Hazel in her blanket!

Right after I let them out this morning.

They walk me up to the gate every morning. Super cute!

    Atticus: "FOOD???"
    Me: "NO."
    Atticus: "Me so sad."

Thanks for looking! I hope you're all having a great day! :)

I love what you've done with Hazel's hair style. I hope all will go well with Lacey's lameness issue.

They are all so cute! Hope everything goes well with Lacey tomorrow. I love how all your pics have a foggy background. It adds interest.

    Thank you ladies! :)

I love that blanket too! Someone on this forum has the same one (only big, obviously) for their horse..I think it might be MudPie... haha
I got it off Jeffers - it's a dog blanket!
I think Hazel really likes it too, at least, she's definitely not complaining! Haha

Thanks for the good wishes for Lacey's vet appointment! I'm really not sure what is going on. I'm beginning to think it might be abscesses on all 4...or at least 3/4. She's acting like her back feet hurt as well and is very sensitive to poking around the cornet band... I'm nervous. But at least abscesses "should" be a relatively "easy" fix... :/ That front leg though...still swollen etc. However, today she was not limping as badly on it so who really knows. I wish they could talk and tell us what's wrong.
I'll report back tomorrow. Her appointment is at 1 so I get to have all morning to worry. Yay.
However, it's REALLY nice of the vet to come out for us tomorrow - she's having a vaccine clinic earlier in the day and is going to stop by on her way home so I don't have to be charged the "emergency call" fee. So thoughtful. :)

And I ended up taking some more pictures this morning so I figure that I'll just add them here.. :)

    "Hey ladies...!"

"WAT did he just say to you?!"

    "Little pipsqueak."

    Lacey!

Atticus decided to walk through right as Lacey was having "mom time" with me...It was a bad bad choice for him.

Once again, needs a toothbrush. Sorry Roperchick!

I think Hazel may be dissappearing soon, well she would be if Lacey didn't have her for company. They're all so darn cute! (:

How do you get pics of Lacey with her mouth wide open? Is she trained to open her mouth on command?? LOL!!!
