Little baby girl - PICS!

We got Demi out on the lawn for a little bit right before it rained yesterday. Pics have been snapped and they are now uploaded (-:

Baby - Demi

She's really tiny! Is there something wrong with her front legs?

She is adorable but like the above poster said does she have something wrong with her front legs? pasterns maybe?

Not that we know of )-: She's just growing super fast! Maybe she hasn't grown into those wobbly things yet. I'll be sure to have someone take a look at them next time I'm with her, though. Now you have me worried!
She is perfectly balanced and walks and runs fine.

You should have a vet look at that. Cute horsey though :)

I'm pretty sure that it's something she should grow into. A lot of foals are born like that, their pasterns haven't developed the proper muscles to hold them up yet, but she should straighten up soon. If she doesn't, definatley get a vet out.

Agreed ^^^ she looks very young in these pics! Give her some time to develop some muscle and she should straighten out! Be sure to post updates! She's adorable! How old is the mare?

The mare is 12... we THINK! We found her in the kill-pen at an auction house. She was already pregnant with Demi at the time, so we aren't sure who the father is, or WHAT he is (-: Demi is for sure half Paso Fino, though, and we're keeping our fingers crossed that she's gaited!

I am so excited to start working with her. She will be my second horse, along with Colby, my Appendix gelding. She was born at 2:30a.m. on Wednesday (July 29).

I'll post more pics soon!

She is sure a cutie and I hope she grows into those big ol' long pasterns. I'm guessing that Mom must be the Paso? She is a very pretty horse with a cute foal at her side.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog:
