    Little boast

I was delighted and a little embarrassed to receive a ribbon in the post today

You see I enter competitions through the The International Riding Academy I didn't think I would be able to enter the summer freestyle, Mr G would be gone, none of the new horses would be fit to go, and I'm so fat and unfit, has so little riding because of the knee, so Yeah, not a lot of good there.

But then I said to heck with it, and took G Man and went and had a go, and although I hadn't practised, and managed to get lost during the test, leading to a judges comment that the patterns were "Meandering" that's because I was actually meandering Anyhow, seems despite scoring poorly, everyone else was worse so, Mr G is

    Go G Man

Oh and got back a test from the spring, scored a 57.5% which was OK, but was scored by Dr Cesar Parra, which is a huge thrill, when you live in little old Saskatchewan

Very good Golden Horse. As I recall in an earlier thread, you had expressed concern about your trainer leaving -- I think this goes to show you can make it on your own.

Very cool. Remember dressage is about beating yourself...not about beating yourself up. This is what I tell Sarah and red.

Woot!! Go G-man! You know, there's a lot to be said for a nice broke horse that is obedient and content .

There is a lot to be said, and I still can't believe I sold him, but his new owner is so delighted, it makes it a lot easier.

Yep, I know how hard it was for you to let go of him, but he's got a good home and, like you said, his new owner is happy.
