Look out peeps! It's coming!!!

I noticed today Toby is getting his winter beard.

This is the difference between winter and summer for him. To me, he doesn't look like the same horse.

Lol wow...bye-bye throatlatch! How cold does it get where you are? Seems like quite a heavy coat. He looks like a different horse!

It gets pretty cold here in Michigan. During the day we're happy if we get to 32. At night it can drop below 0

Lol You just reminded me to take a pic of my horses facial hair when he gets it. He even gets some hair on his upper lip, like a cute little mustache :).
In the mornings here I'm happy if it's 40! But by the afternoon it's usually 65-70. Which is good :)

Tell me about it!! Mario and Pablo are already getting their winter coats in and I'm only in California!! Lol That's the only thing I don't like about fall/winter lol.

I noticed our horses were already getting pretty fuzzy. It's been very wet and rainy lately, and cooler than usual. I hope that's not an omen!

Cricket's coat is coming in. I notice her getting a bit fluffier. I doubt she'll get to look like a wooly mammoth. She'll probably need a blanket and it doesn't even get that cold here. LOL curse you TB coat!!

You know I thought I was crazy cause Carolina's getting a bit fuzzy, now I know I'm not lol. Ok.. well not in that aspect anyway.

He does look totally different lol but he's still gorgeous!

Fuzzy pony!
Yea, Twist is deffinately gettin furry. Specially his butt. Our winters are odd; some years it can get to -15 overnight and feet of snow, and others it hardly snows and it stays in the 40s and 50s.
