Look what I was greeted by in the pasture today

At first I was so excited he actually walked over to me in pasture since he rarely does...

And then he gets closer and is like "Hey mom, I had so much fun today!"...a little TOO much fun.

After two hours of cleaning him and brushing out his dreadful muddy mane, I attempted a running braid. He came to me missing a chunk so I'm just waiting for it to grow out rather than chopping off the rest of his mane to match the length.

Then I put him back out in pasture and he was happy to see one of his friends and was being all cuddly and niffing noses.

Muddy winter days like these make me question myself why I got a [mostly] white horse...lol

Haha! Gotta love the mud! It's when I see pictures like these that I am glad for my black horse. Even though he loves the dirt/mud just as much, it doesn't show so badly. LOL! BTW, I love your horse's markings!

Gotta love when they start "liking" you. What fun would it be if you couldn't take muddy pictures to post! Lol

He's a Chesnut max sabino so he's about 98% white with some red ticking on his ears, neck, shoulders, flanks, and hind quarters. His ears used to be solid red when he was young but it just has ticking except for the inside its still solid red. He has to have lots of sun block cause his skin is mostly pink. thank god for the eyeliner he was born with.

But again I think you colt is adorable how old is he?
