He's a Chesnut max sabino so he's about 98% white with some red ticking on his ears, neck, shoulders, flanks, and hind quarters. His ears used to be solid red when he was young but it just has ticking except for the inside its still solid red. He has to have lots of sun block cause his skin is mostly pink. thank god for the eyeliner he was born with.
But again I think you colt is adorable how old is he?
Thats so cool, I've never seen anything like that. Very pretty!
My boy is 12. I'm worried about this summer...I'm scared his eye is going to get badly burned. I've been looking up horse sunblocks for his eye so if it does get in his eye it wont sting or hurt him like people kind would. He'll have on a fly mask too...so I'm hoping he'll be okay! He is mostly white so I'm kind of worried about him burning too, I'll buy him a light sheet if I need too, but I'm hoping he'll do fine without. His previous owner said he has always been fine and they never did anything to prevent sunburn and that he's an easy keeper. I'll see how he does. I love his marking too...he also has a little "beauty mark" freckle under his eye which I love, lol. I think this is as clean as his face has ever been...when he rolls he like digs his left eye into the dirt and it is impossible to clean, and of course its the white side of his face instead of the brown side...
I used sweat proof/water proof 30 SPF sunblock that's for people works just as good for horses and easier to find. If you are having problems with the eye with the white you can always have it tattooed black it will help protect it from eye cancers Posted via Mobile Device
