Lots of horses.

Well I am bored so I figured I would post pictures of the horses that have been in my life. They aren't mine but I love them, well most of them :]

But yeah here they are.

He is super loving! He is a 19 year old, QH gelding, red roan and I think about 15.2hh or so. He was used extensively as a reiner, roper and cutter in his early days. My friend "rescued" him from his previous home. He wasn't really abused but he wasn't really taken care of either. He is has really bad ringbone and is just a pasture pet now. But we love him all the same. He is the sweetest of the horses, he came up to me last night cause I was sitting in the field and started licking my forehead and cheek.

She wasn't with us for too long. She was sure a sweet mare though. My friend leased her for a bit and she is the only mare that I didn't talk bad about haha. She was a 16hh [I think] Thoroughbred mare, black and about 25 years old. She used to train in pre olympics and was jumping 5-6 feet. She was fast too! But she sadly went lame, she was ready for a good retirement so we had to send her back home.

We had him for a while. He was a sweetie at first, but he has a few screws loose somewhere lol. He was also being leased by my friend. He became aggressive though and it was time to send him back home. We tried to work him through it but he was kicking and biting. He was a 15.2hh [roughly], QH gelding, bay and I think he was like 13 or something around there. We used him for western, jumping and dressage. He wasn't really that great at any of it though.

She is a huge monster haha. At 16.2hh she is built like a tank too. She is a chestnut Thoroughbred mare and is 13 also I think, I could be wrong. My friend leased her as well, but she is A LOT of horse and really strong. Also she has possibly navicular and is no longer good for jumping which is what she focus on so she is going back home too. She is a psycho mare but can be sweet.

Evil mare! Well not really but she is moody and a handful to ride sometimes. She isn't very comfortable to ride either and is really fat! She looks pregnant. She is a 15 year old, black bay ThoroughbredxTennesse Walker cross mare, yeah a gross cross in my opinion, but oh well. She is about 15.3hh or so. She is leased out by another person we know now, so we don't have to deal with her at home now! YAY. She is used for everything pretty much and is pretty good at jumping and would be great at barrels.

He is the newest edition. 15.2-15.3hh Thoroughbred chestnut gelding, he is 10. He is a butt, I don't personally like him but he isn't my horse so whatever. He just got to the house where all the horses are kept. He is a great riding horse, has wonderful movement, but I just don't like his personality. He was trained for eventing pretty much, but hasn't been jumped for a while. He is a really nice looking horse but a big pain!

This is "my" lover boy! He is my favorite horse and I love him to death. We do everything from jumping to barrels. He is a 20 year old, 16hh, chestnut, Thoroughbred gelding. He was abused before my friend rescued him. He has horrible hooves and doesn't keep weight but I still love him. I trust him with my life and there isn't anything I can't do with him.

This horse taught me so much! He is owned by the stable I used to ride at. I had a bad falling out with my trainer there and left. I miss Wazzy a lot and go see him sometimes. He is a 24 year old [might be older], bay, Crabbit Arabian gelding and is 14.2hh. He is an ex dressage champion and is retired from riding now. He has cushings but is enjoying his retirement now. He was born and raised on that farm. His dam died during his birth and he was a bottle baby. He is super sweet and affectionate. I miss him!

I don't wanna any talk about how many horses we have leased. That is why we lease so leave your opinions on that to yourself please!

Any comments on the horses are welcome though. If there is a horse you would like to see more pictures of I am more than willing to send you some more or post some more. We have more of them all! Thanks!

I've ridden horses for 8 years and have only now gotten my own, so I know where you're coming from. I cannot tell you how many horses I've had in my life, nor the information you have. =] Sounds like you've dealt with quite a few in your time! All sound like nice horses, even that mare! Haha, well, thanks for sharing the cute pics!
