This on makes 20

The little buckskin didn't take a very good picture. He will be a year old the last of the month. Basiclly he was an unwanted because he had a crooked tendon on the back leg. Over the winter it corrected itself and now is just like it should be. I really thank the folks that gave him to me.
He will stay a stallion and is a quarter horse. He draws a lot of attention and people wish to purchase him. I can't sell a gift, and he has a great background to boot.

Got any pictures of him without his winter fuzzies? I wanna see more of him. Any particular reason you are leaving him a stud? That may be a bad choice especially since unless you REALLY train him well before he gets all studly you will have a horse you can't do anything with. Does he have papers or anything?

Smile Winter fuzzies

All the horses around here still have the winter fuzzies. This morning it is only 48 degrees again.
He is papered. I have people wanting to breed to him as they cut his sire a month ago. They kept him a stud until he was 5. Very gentle and quiet for a stallion. He is just starting to drop. I handle him a lot. If his attitude changes I won't leave him that way. He is a running quarter, not the bulldog type.
One of the highschool rodeo gentlemen that teaches the young peopole rodeo wants to buy him for a roping horse. He is set up really well and his movements are good. I am not the smartest person on all of this stuff on the movements.
I need to put him up and put a blanket on him, shed him out all the way and take him to a halter class. Then we will know just what we have here.
A buckskin here with a dorsel stripe and set up well is like having a small piece of gold, there just isn't a stallion around here now. My neighbor got mad at his because he thought the mares didn't catch and cut him. Then out came 3 from his mares. The nearest buckskin stallion is miles away.
I will get better pictures of him so you can see him better.
Thanks for the interest.
