Meet Lola!

I posted this elsewhere, but I thought I'd make a post here too. My equine family has grown (again) just what I needed, another mouth to feed, but how could I say no to this face:

She's a yearling molly mule. Sweet as can be, very friendly, affectionate baby who has clearly had some good handling in the past. Not sure how she wound up in the kill pens at Shipshewana Auction, but for 25 bucks I couldn't leave her there.

SpeedRacer named her Lola for me, which I think is fitting. Welcome to the family, Lola!

She is such a cutie . Do you know, is she a QH mule or more of a drafty type?

I'll take her, please. =] I just LOVE her face. And that color! Is it just your camera or is she really carrot-colored? =P Congrats on the little one, Indy!

Aww! She looks straight out of a Winnie The Pooh book. That's what I first thought when these pictures were posted. She's just adorable. =]

She's a sorrel, but REALLY sorrel, like, Irish Setter red lol. Very nice shiny coat though, and still pretty short, considering all my kiddos are in full woolies already, so I'm guessing she isn't local.

Smrobs, in build she's more QH type, but she's I'd guess about 11.2 hands now, with her somewhere around a year old, up to as much as, possibly, 2.5 years based on teeth, but I doubt she is that old. (she has a full mouth, but no permanents yet) but her overall look to me is that of a yearling to 18 month old. So from that I'm guessing she will be in the 14-15 hand range matured.
