So we got two horses at Equine Voices. They are both amazing and very sweet.
First off here is Nicholas and his story.
About 4 years ago, there was a terrible barn fire that killed around 20 horses, I think, except for Nicholas here.
He was the only survivor.
So ever since then, the person who has had him decided they wouldn't treat his burns, they would just let him heal himself. But obviously after FOUR YEARS, that didn't work so he is now safe and sound at Equine Voices.
Let me to tell you you guys, he is such a sweet horse. He is a little touch shy but he is just so amazing. We gave him a bath on Saturday because his tail got all the cream they put on the burns in his tail. He would then slap his tail against the burns and it would open it up and it started to bleed. He is just awesome!
So that is Nicholas and now it;s time to meet my new best friend, AMADO!
He is so sweet a ahh I can't get this horse out of my head, I just love him so much! Heres his story:
Amado got adopted out awhile ago when he was foal and then Karen found out that the lady was trying to sell him. So Karen took him back and he is now my new favorite! He is so sweet and I spent like 1 hour Saturday and today just grooming him and working with him!
Also when I was putting the cream on Nicholas and when I was trying to take pictures of him, Amado was against the rail the whole time with his nose in my ear. Lol And when I was cleaning out his water bucket he keep scrubbing his nose against my back. I've never felt this way about a horse before, it's insane and I've only been around him for 2 days!
I might adopt him, I'm so excited!!!
So anyways onto pics so you can see his cuteness!
Watching Solo Vino.
Someone was walking a horse behind me and he didn't like it. Lol
He keep following me
I love this halter on him, I bought it! :)
