Merit - 10 months

Here's my little guy, still in his winter fluff and looking like a wooly bear. I'm pretty anxious for him to shed out, with the light stuff underneath he just looks dirty. The last couple shots you can see where he's greying out.

Yay for grass starting to grow!

Nice boy! He looks very well put together and seems like a tank already!

Thanks everyone. I'm pretty happy with him.

I'm really anxious to see him change. We've had so many foals born here over my lifetime but this is my first grey. I wish I'd have gotten some up close of his pasterns, they are still very black with white sprinkles. It looks "salt & pepper". I've had a few folks tell me that bays tend to be slower in the greying out process, anyone know if there's any truth to that?

He is a nice little guy, love his butt, so quarter horsey-ish. So you mean this lovely little bay (what I thought cause it's my fave) is going to be gray??

Yep wares, he's going to be grey. I'm up to my eyeballs in bays, so I'm happy about it :) I'm waiting on results from UC Davis now to find out if Lacey is homozygous.
