Minnesota Winter Wonderland

In the last 3 days we have gotten more than 10 inches of snow and it is still coming down solid! So I thought I would try to stir up the girls and get some cool pictures, didn't get very many that turned out good due to my old old old camera and the movement but some were kinda fun hope you enjoy

The girls cometh.

Rain over Hailey's back

Novas Eyes

Rain Strutting around

Nova Bean

Hailey (left dunny, yearling) and Nova (right dunny, coming late 3 yr old), Hailey is going to be enormous compared to Nova. Crazy!

Hailey trying to see me from over Novas back.

The girls again

Snowy Butts

Hailey and I in Novas Eye.

Hailey almost looked like a blanket appy.

A few rolling shots of Nova just when I had given up.

Sooo snowy! I honestly wish it would stop, I have to drive in this! I got a few of my mare in the snow, too - my black mare looked so pretty in the snow, and my Appy filly just looked wet and dirty, so no pics of her!

It's so much fun to watch animals interact with snow - especially if they've never seen it before.

I love when they make horse angels in the snow! Great pics everyone!

you know your horse has good insulation when the snow falls on his back and doesn't melt!

Blankets? Pshaw!

I did blanket them for deer season but that's it, the yearling is the only one that isn't obese so I'm not too scared of them getting too cold.
