More Halloween Pics

More Halloween pics from yours truly. Got photo’s of Dakota (of course), me (surprisingly in costume *gasp*), my best friend and her horse (in costume), my girl Gypsie (in a costume I put together in a hurry), and my cousin Rusty (sadly, not in costume... as he refused to wear a ‘green flowery cape’).

First, we have my girl Gypsie as a Dark Unicorn.

Now we have my best friend as a Templar (sp?) Knight and Flicka as a Knight/Carousel Horse.

And we have both me and Dakota as Knights.

Lastly, a ‘kinda’ group shot...

Thanks for looking and hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!

Thanks guys. It was so much fun... my cousin Rusty and best friend had to leave early, so my other friend Tyler was at my cousins Halloween party and he decided that he wanted to ride Gypie, so me and him rode around the roads for about two hours after dark. I finally got in last night around nine-thirty... Lol. The horses were so great and calm, though Flicka is terrified of Dakota getting close to her (he kicks and has nailed her quite a few times in the past... I'm -still- trying to make him stop kicking...) and she's going blind in one eye, so she kept turning to stare at my boy and his costume (the way it flapped around him startled her) and every time he got near, she backed off, even though he never once kicked out.

Great costumes! Looks like a lot of work went into them.
How did you get the unicorn horn to stay on?

Fabulous jobs on the costumes! You all look amazing!

Getting the horse to stay on as easy... I attached it to the browband (ran the browband through it), though getting it to stay 'still' when my girl alked was harder... I had to tie the sides down to the browband with braiding bands... and it sadly didn't hold up to galloping, though we saved the galloping for the very end of our ride, so it didn't matter much at that point. Lol...
