More pictures of the lovely lady Lacey...

My school got closed because "water amassed in the electrical system" (we've been having basically the entire spring's worth of rain, in two days) so I had lotsa time to spend with Lacey today! Thankfully, I just missed the rain starting again, it started POURING as soon as I got back to my car.

I had to put her blanket back on because of all the rain. Since she doesn't have shelter (and she's skinny), I was concerned about her getting too wet and cold. Dang. And she was doing so well without her blanket! Ah well.

First off we have the "OMG! Wallaby! Mom!" pictures. Heehee

"Hummmm, I like grass"

"Le gasp! I seez you!"

"I come to hugz you!"

(She's developed an "awesome" new trick - you put your hand on her face and she'll move her head around so you end up rubbing her itchies without actually doing any work yourself, hahahahaha)

"Hiya! Did you bring me food for winning at shedding everwhere?"

"Relative shortness is ALL about posture, I'm telling you."

Artsy pictures! She was so good, I told her to stay there and she did for at least five minutes. Haha I didn't even have to warn her away from the grass.

I reeeeeeaaaaallllly like this one. I liked it better before I had to crop it a little but there were distractions. Haha
It would also be better if she was completely shed out but beggars can't be choosy, right? Haha

Happy Tuesday!

Rest peacefully, Lacey.

Great shots! I'm amazed that she stood while you got those shots. Mine whould be trying to eat the camera, or decided that they were bored & start walking away! Lol I love that black & white one the best!

Wow! Thanks Sierra! Do you mind me asking what program you used? I took out a telephone pole with Picasa but what you did looks so much more like there was never anything there at all...

WSArabians, I am totally jealous of your snow! Haha we didn't get any snow at all here this year and I adore snow, so I'm bummed. But I do love the grass... =P

Your brother goes there, Lacy? It's a small world! Haha I just found it super funny that the school had to close, I mean, that's such a cheesy community college type thing to have happen. Hahaha And all my high school friends were moaning about how they wished they didn't have to go to school and I could be like "Ha! Suckers!" =P We didn't get a thunderstorm, that I noticed. I was really hoping that we'd have a big one because I enjoy thunderstorms, but no such luck.

Dreamer- Lacey is funny like that. I trained her to stay put indefinitly when she has a leadrope on and I'm not holding the leadrope. Lol! It's worked well for her since she's one of those horses that is absolutely crushed if I growl at her, so if she starts moving, I just growl and she stops immediatly. She's a funny cookie but an excellent subject for pictures! Heehee

Thanks everyone for the compliments and such! =)

I'm almost bummed that it'll soon be sunny all the time because she is so much less photogenic when the sky is blue.
