You were just not fast enough, he almost had to wait to be fed. **** maid! When this happens to me,,, I laugh and talk to my escapee. For some reason they stay quite close anyway. Its cute how you just take his picture. Your like me... just take your time and as long as you know he is safe you know you'll eventually get him back in. Love it!

He has gotten out two other times in the 4 years I've had him, but we have such a big back yard with a lot of grass so he never wanders. I do have to secure the fencing better though as I've been lucky so far that he keeps to the back. He will wander in to the neighbors back yard and leave some free fertilizer. Thank goodness my neighbors love him...they don't mind and he doesn't destroy anything.

Absolutely hilarious! What a brat! How does he get out? Does he open the gate, or jump over?

I'm not sure my mammoth beast can jump LOL. We have split rail by the barn door, most of the 7 acre pasture is hotwire but right around the barn there is split rail the previous owner put in to make it look nice. Which it does.

Jake just pushes down the top rail and steps over the bottom 2.

I have to say...when I first saw him this morning he was grazing by the tall tree to the right of the pond. He literally glowed in the morning light. Hence I grabbed my phone to take a pic. But he saw me, knew he was busted and went running for the barn.

He is a character!

That's so cute! Well, not that he got away..... But that he knew he'd gotten caught. Little stinker! Beautiful horse!
