Well the first guy's name is Shaton and he has quite the story behind him. He was born to a mare that no one knew was pregnant and whose owner died in a car accident. The mare was thought to be fat and was almost starved to death to make her drop weight. Instead she dropped this little guy and almost died in the process. He was born black so he was named Shaton after the black stallion. He had to be bottle fed since his mom didn't produce milk. I bought him as a 2 yr old stallion and he has the most amazing personality. The only thing he has ever done to me is bite me once during breeding season... on my left boob and I had to go to the emergency room and have been forever scarred with 2 sets of teeth! Needless to say he has been gelded since that incident, and I am going to train and use him for endurance riding. He is currently being broke under saddle and will be my forever horse. Without any training at all you can let just about anyone sit on him, and he LOVES my dog and will protect him from harm. He is a steel gray but during summer time he looks like a blue roan. He is my favorite!
Blaze came to me by accident, I had no intention of owning two horses. He was my friend's horse and when she got tired of him she gave him to me. He is a sweet boy but is very mischievous. I would love to keep Blaze simply because he is my horse's best friend and they spend all day nuzzling and grooming each other. The only time they don't get along is when he tries to chase my dog and Shaton tries to protect him. He is absolutely gorgeous; I have more and better pictures of him but that's the only one on the computer. I will post them later. If you live in California and could provide a forever home for Blaze, please make me an offer! He is a beautiful red chestnut with a flaxen mane and red tail.
